workshop styles
follow along
recommended time: min. 2hrs
in this format I will demonstrate step by step how to make a specific design and you will follow along to create the same piece
pros:
you know what your piece will look like
everyone will have matching pieces
there is more structure overall
step by step will be easier to follow
cons:
you may not be able to explore creativity
cannot work at own pace
do it yourself
recommended time: min. 2-3hrs
in this format I will demonstrate step by step how to use the materials and how to make an object, but after you have free reign to make whatever design you desire
pros:
full creativity choice
everyone will have different pieces
can work at their own pace
cons:
you may not know what your piece will look like
may not know how to proceed without following along a step by step
hybrid recommended time: min. 2-4hrs
this format combines the best of both formats: I will demonstrate step by step how to make a specific design, and others who would prefer to explore their creativity can work at their own pace and create their own design
